Bought Haldiram Rusgulla tin costing MRP Rs.110 for Rs. 22
Gatorade MRP Rs. 35 for Rs. 10
12.5 Ltr Pepsi bottle MRP 75 for Rs. 15
500ml mango juice bottle MRP 23 for Rs.5 HAHAHA thats the price in the bill!!!
The Catch:
5-6 years back Pepsi and other manufactures used Food Bazar chains to dump their near expiry stock at dirt cheap rates so we used to get 1.5 Ltd Coke buy1 get 1 free etc on most items.
But lately most manufactures got greedy and started taking back the expiry stock and re-labeling / refilling it.
BUT pepsi recently got a nice kick in their BUT when the Hon. High Court asked then that you call yourself an international company following the standards globally will you do the same what you did here back in USA ?
So all these greedy buggers an now clearing off their now expiry stock again through retail chains like Reliance.
A word of caution though. be very careful on the stuff available in this clearance sale expecially the juices and DON’T EVER give this near expiry stuff to small children
